| Frozen Over | Pond is frozen over at Garry Point. The grass field that was once occupied by kite fliers and bocce ball players, are now substituted by one thin, reflective ice piece and nature's perfect little ornaments, seagulls. A stroll with nature, along with my camera was needed amidst an undesirable study day. Although I often dislike the cold, winter is something special to me. There's a certain quietness in the air - animals plan their hideaway, trees are bare, people find warmth among loved ones. I don't think we appreciate the quietness enough as the white noises of our busy lives often take over us.

Walking along the frozen pond, it's intriguing how something can look so different at certain times of the year - as if its been waiting to be uncovered and explored. People are the same. Give it a chance. As the end of the year approaches, there will be more reminiscing, more recollections of the past year. I'm anticipating to give 2010 a chance.
