Light On | The last day of winter olympics. The last day of chinese new year festival. Kind of bittersweet as the celebrations are winding down. The cauldron, the fire - lighting the hearts of many athletes and believers - will be extinguished soon. Yet, today is also a special day for many, including me, as the last day of CNY is also the Lantern Festival and our very own Chinese Valentine's Day - where we'll be lighting candles, lighting the hearts of those around us and guiding us home.

Hope being together in celebration, as one, is not just a fad. a momentary occurrence. As its been a joy witnessing spontaneous, natural smiles across many faces, young and old, during these past few weeks. But we must also remember that there are many who have lost that ability in places around the world. recently in haiti. chile. As we light our candles, our lanterns, i hope we can bring brightness back to those who needs it.
