Today. A day could be just another day. But things shift when one decides to deviate from their normal routine, like waking up late, catching a different bus, or canceling a scheduled appointment. Curious events happen.
Late afternoon, I get to my car and a ladybug, wearing bright red with black dots, greets me and decides to stick around the passenger window - stays with me all the way home. That stubborn thing. Or, she's being a dear and knows that I need a bit of luck these days so she's hanging on to her darn life to help out a friend. It's the second time I've seen a ladybug in the last week. One on a card. One on a car. Maybe a third one is the charm? I'll be patiently waiting.
